If you’re an artist, or even just an observer, you need to know that there is no right way of making art. Everyone uses different tools and techniques to create things in their own way. What you like to use when you make art, may not be something another likes to use. I appreciate other’s artwork and the way they do things, but I NEVER tell them that what they are doing is wrong. I have given a few of my artist friends some pointers. I give slight suggestions in the nicest way possible so I don’t offend them, but I never tell them that they are wrong. People improve on their own from learning from their mistakes, and that’s just great that they do. I learn the same way. I love artwork and treat other artists with respect, because I would love to have their respect in return. But to tell someone that how they do things is wrong and that it should be done a specific way is form of elitism. Elitism is probably the worst most disgusting thing ever. Respect and appreciate your peers or it won’t be returned in kind and you will soon find out how alone you are.

Filed under personal rant I'm too stressed out this is why i hardly draw anymore guys
